One of the most hotly contested local races of 2010 is coming to an end tonight. Rena Moran and Jeremiah Ellis will face off in the race to succeed Rep. Cy Thao in the Saint Paul district. Ellis gained the backing of the DFL after Rep. Thao dropped out of the running while Moran has outraised Ellis and won the endorsements of TakeAction Minnesota and the Saint Paul teachers union.
As I've said I'm a strong backer of Rena's and am taking a quick break from my day of phonebanking to put this up. We've been seeing amazing support and are very excited about our chances.
