- MPR has just made this part of my 'work' here on MPP one hell of a lot easier! But I won't just be linking to that every day and collecting my pay calling it good. Real-world considerations, I suppose, prevent MPR's people from providing appropriate amounts of insulting commentary and general contempt for all the words and doings of Gov. Paw-thetic.
- If you should happen to have a few drinks tonight, or not, and want to laugh at, not with, something (albeit in a sort of perverse, cynical way), try Tim Pawlenty's very own website. It's for his 'Freedom First' PAC.
Note the 'Freedom Means:' box in the upper right-hand corner. Of course I don't know exactly what you might be seeing there, as the site's doing its level best to be interactive. But based on my fairly extensive experience with it, delusional Republican platitudes are awfully easy to come by, these days.
Check out the 'Meet T-Paw' page. We're certainly all used to his sorry-ass distortions and shameless lies, but nevertheless one is almost awestruck at just how much, in that way, can be packed into just a couple of paragraphs ("He...system.")
And I won't dwell at any length on the first frame of the video at the bottom of the home page. Just that a) he looks like he just took a shot of cheap tequila, trying to be 'one of the guys,' is losing the struggle to retain it, and is therefore on the very precipice of 'blowing chunks,' and b) the site's administrator hasn't thought to change it since I first checked it out a couple of weeks ago.
