It is important we realize the Republican conspiracy theory nonsense wasn't just ab9out the recount. They want to hamper Franken as much as possible, and undermine him in preparation for 2014. They're using their echo chamber to amplify talking points that are false, but will be oft-repeated, so people will get confused about what really happened or give credence to lies. They are repeatedly accusing Franken of prevent all votes from getting counted. They will say the canvassing board and the court were partisan Democrats or weaklings cowed by a rampaging Ritchie. They believe and will keep repeating the story about ballots being found in mysterious places. We need to counter attack now and repeatedly. I promise that the tales of a stolen election will motive Republicans for not just 2014, but elections in between, just as they continue to use the Washington state recount, and they made the rematch last year very close in a Democratic year in a blue state. If we don't fight back, they win.
